It's a cold, gray day here, so I've just been hanging out here inside. Marcus was sick with the flu Friday and Saturday. He had a fever of 103 most of that time and had the body aches and conjestion, sneezing...........you get the picture. With Mo gone I didn't go anywhere out of the house so I could care for him and entertain Erik. No friends or family could come over because of the flu. We all felt very isolated but we had fun. Erik and I played games and listened to music (he really likes Three Days Grace) and then we watched "Night at the Museum" and had popcorn last night. Marcus felt great this morning and I was planning a big day out of the house until Erik got up and announced that he didn't feel good. I took his temperature and sure enough he was a 103. Got him some kids Motrin and sent him back to bed. Here we all are still in the house. I have not seen another adult face in 4 days and I'm going nuts! SOMEBODY SEND ME A MESSAGE, HELP, I'M STUCK ON A DESERTED ISLAND! I did make some Steak Fajitas for lunch today. I put most of it away so Mo can have some tonight when she comes in from NY. I made a Steak Fajita Burrito with black beans. Oooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh! It was very good! I made home-made pepperoni and sausage pizza last night before the movie. I put grilled red onion and portabello mushroom on mine and the boys had a Hawaiian pizza with fresh pineapple and smoked ham. Delicious! I hope all of you are well and are having a great day! Peace...........................David

I am so aware of what an interesting ride the flu can be. Daddy took the kids to his place and I was secluded in my room for 3 days thank god for the internet. The first time I felt good enough to get out of bed I had to take the trash to the dump and was happy to do it. Your a good daddy, hope the little ones are feeling better.
Isn\'t it crazy being stuck in? Chris (bf) got his wisdom teeth pulled on Friday and Bekka (12 yr old daughter) had a full asthma attack & panic attack on Thursday & was in the ER. Sooo... I spent the weekend cleaning, cooking and babying them two. Work might actually be more relaxing than my weekend! LOL. Hope the boys are feeling better!
Hope both boys are doing much better. I hope that you and Mo do not come down with this as I hear this year there are many different strains of the flu bug...Dad you did a great job....I ready to eat, you made me hungry....LOL
Oh I hope the boys are feeling better soon. Sounds like daddy takes awesome care of them though. Such a wonderful cook daddy is, and entertainer! Sometimes I go days without seeing other adults and I know about the SOS message. I wish you and the boys well and will send blessings also.

OOOOO I made homade peperoni pizza with hubby yesterday for the Nascar race before they decided to delay it. Hope you are all well now! Take care!
Hi Dave, I am so sorry your boys are sick. Hope they are feeling better soon. The flu has been down here too. The schools had any where from 100- 150 kids out at one time.I believe it is slacking up now. Do hope you and Mo keep it at bay. Take care of yourself and your nice family. Be strong and be blessed.
