For some reason my insurance company won't clear delivery of my Betaseron. I placed a refill on it over a week ago, but my pharmacy says that the insurance provider has put a hold on it. I took my last dose Monday night. Everyone involved is pointing the finger at someone else, saying that they are not responsible for the delay, but I can't get anyone to give me a straight answer. The stinking insurance companies and pharmicutical companies are all rotten to the core, everything they do is about maximizing their profits and minimizing the publics health and safety. I don't know this for sure , but I can imagine that right now the CEO of my insurance company just excepted a bonus for this year in the sum of $150 million while I sit here wondering if I'll get my next dose of medicine.

My heart breaks for you. Russ and I went through ALL the insurance wars over the years...I know you will hear me whine about the V.A. appt., but we are free of the bondage of insurance! Which is almost worth having the creepy docotrs or the 1st years students...LOL Please post when you get your meds...I\'ll be praying for you until then.
I hate insurance companies with a passion. I pray the next president, whomever it might be, can do something to fix healthcare and health insurance. It\'s a nightmare.

I go through this with my husband all the time, right now I am fighting for the insurance company to fax an authorization form for the Dr to fill out so he can get some meds...thinks they did it ...no soon back on the phone again and wait and wait. Does your insurance company offer mail in? This is usually cheaper (co-pay wise) and its sent like over night. Check with them.
I understand what you mean about the CEO. I hate them. Funny thing is I used to work for a pharmacy/prescription company. Its sick how much money they make and we sit here waiting and waiting. If people like the CEO didn\'t get such a HUGE bonus, drugs would be cheaper! It makes me mad.
I was on Beta and Copaxone. Didn\'t tolerate them at all. They made me miserable and feel worse. I don\'t take any of the ABC\'s.. I just take LDN and once a month I get the IVIG treatment....

I\'m on the mail in program through BCBS and about once every 4 months they \"forget\" my perscription. I call them back and they always make some lame excuse and it \"magically\" goes out the door. They\'re pathetic! If I had run a company the way these guys do, I would have been fired! But not these guys, they all get bonuses!
