My youngest son, Erik, is staying home with me today.  He was running some fever and was feeling a little sick to his stomach last night before bedtime.  He seems a little better this morning although he is dosed up on some kids Motrin.  We're just watching a little Sponge Bob right now.  Even though he is sick and feeling yucky, he asked me if Grandma is feeling any better from her surgery.  I told him that we would call her when it gets a little later and check on her.  He said to let him talk to her this time.  He's in the kitchen now making her a "get well" card.  He is so special, just love him so much!My wife and oldest son's birthday is coming up in two weeks.  She is 38 this year going on 20.  She is so great, just my best friend.  I have always loved just being with her, she is beautiful and so much fun, just a real blessing!  Marcus will be 10 this year, where did the time go?!?  It seems like just yesterday I was carrying him in my arms, feeding him, and rocking him to sleep.  Now he's planning to be a doctor and he's nearly as tall as his mom.Gotta get going, there's so much to get done today.  I hope all my friends have a great day!

Sounds like a super family! Where does time go? Enjoy them - it goes real fast. Even though I\'m 52 other than having the MS and using a cane like old people do at least I feel young and REFUSE to grow old! My daughter is 26 and a pre-k teacher for the past 3 years. My son is 22 and is a computer tech at a college. Even though at the moment they live here - basically just wiz in to eat, do laundry, and sleep they are still and will always be my babies. My daughter is already moving in with her boyfriend by the end of the summer and I will miss her dearly. My son is not into \'girly\' things so it won\'t be the same. I\'m scared when he\'s in the basement and hear banging or the saw going. Never a dull moment around here! I love my kids and could rattle on about them forever but the point I want to make is enjoy every moment with your kids now...

OK, I admit it, I\'m a SpongeBob addict! I just need a 12-step program.

Dave,
You sound like a great father and the way you describe your feelings toward your wife sound like you are a devoted husband. I wish all of Us men could sound and be so stable regarding their families; sorry MS had to find its way into your life. We get a bad rap at times but by the sounds of your character you dissolve that myth.
Though you have many friends here at DS you may want to check out Shamanwolf, Jlynn032, Littlewing; RoB2211, there are so many great people here but then I think you all ready know that fact. You may have a lot in common with Rob2211 having little ones and all.
Hope your day is symptom free.
