We went to see the Checkers play on Saturday night and man they got their butts kicked.  The Stingrays scored 5 goals in the first period.  With a new goalie for the rest of the game the Checkers held them to one more goal with the final score 6-2.  Well, at least the beer was cold and the wings had blue cheese.  We had on the New England-New York game on the flat screen so most of us watched that so we wouldn't be so depressed.  No such luck, the Giants lost.
