The weather here has been so bizarre the last couple of years, but lately it's been just out of control.  We've been in a serious draught for the last several years and today our city went to stage 4 water restrictions(whatever the heck that means).  They say we have less than 100 days of water left.  There's talk of water rationing, you know, they'll only turn the water on for public use from 6-8 pm each day.  No one has watered a yard in months.  I don't have grass anymore and I don't mean it's brown and dead, I mean it's just gone , I have rock hard dirt. 

The heat here this summer was awful,  many days were over 100 degrees.  Everything is baked.  I was glad when fall and winter arrived and we could enjoy some cooler temps, but guess what, it still hot!  I'm sitting here right now in shorts and a tee with all the windows and doors open.  The high today was 80 and that was an all time high, ever, for the month of december here.  They say it will be hotter still for the next several days. 

No rain in site here for the forseeable future.  Hopefully something will change and we can get a break someday.
