Is pain normal for MS patients?  I've had terrible pain in my neck up into my head for 3 days now.  Nothing seems to relieve it.  I have been more forgetful and lost in the last couple of weeks.  I tried to drive myself to my doctors office last week.  About half way there, I could not remember where I was going or WHY I was going.  After I stopped the car and thought about it, I remembered I had a doctors appointment but did not know how to get there.  I've been going there for years and I know that his office is next to the hospital where I use to work but I was lost, I did not know how to get to where I was going.  I was getting scared and thought I was going to have a panic attack (I haven't had one of those in years but I know the feeling of one coming on), but I got myself calmed down and thought my way through the situation.  I drove through areas I recognized and suddenly I found his office and everything became familiar again.  Lord knows I hate MS and what it's doing to my brain.
