Sorry I've been out of touch for awhile. Got very sick this week. I had extreme pain in my abdomen on Thursday morning which was preceeded by exhaustion on Mon, Tues and Wed. Pain was so bad by Thurs noon that I couldn't get up and had to wait for my sons to get home to help me up. My gastro doc got me in to the hospital and I had a CT scan. I have had diverticulosis for many years but I have not had a flair up in 10 years. I was running fever and had the pain, all the classic symptoms; they did the CT for fear that I had a bowel perforation. So far they don't think I had a tear in my colon but I am on 2 antibiotics (Metronidazole and Levaquin). Still have some pain but it is manageable and I can get up and move about. I think the MS just compounds the symptoms of my gastro problems which really SUCKS!

The boys have their Pinewood Derby race this afternoon at Cub scouts. I am very proud of their efforts in this, their cars look great. I am going to try and make this event and root for them to win.

Its beautiful here today. Sunny and a high of 72. My herb garden is looking great. I love seeing everything coming to life. My bird feeder is a hub of activity with so many different species. The hummingbird feeder is also busy which delights us all. What a wonderful blessing this is to be able to see all God's awesome beauty around us.
