Had a great weekend! The church service on Sunday was great. I felt so energized afterwards. I love my church. I look forward to the service all week.
Saturday night, all the neighbors gathered in front of our house to watch the eclipse as the moon rose. We had such good fun and fellowship. The kids played in the circle and watched the moon as it rose. There were several pairs of binoculars and a telescope for viewing the event. One friend of mine was kind enough to let me rest my elbows on his shoulders so I could get a steady view of the eclipse with the binoculars.
It's times like these that I am reminded of how truly blessed that I am. No matter how bad off I might think that I am, God reminds me with special times like these that I am loved and cared for and that I have so many reasons to be thankful.
