Gym...
Well...just over a month and I would say on the overage I'm getting to the gym two times a week. I only have about 20 minutes on the treadmill while there. :-( I'm not feeling well today. I'm set for 3 days next week if all goes well. Baby steps...right??? At least I've got the membership and still wanting to go. I justt need to increase the days I get there. I still need to work on eating healthier and smaller portions. I have stepped on the scale for awhile and don't plan on it. I know I'm at my heaviest or pretty close to it. I just want to try to stay positive and work on these baby steps and improving myself! Thanks all for being here.

OOppps I mean on the average not overage! Ha!
Yes, it is the \'baby steps\' that need our focus. I think you need to reward yourself for the effort. If every time you worked out you were paid $1,000.00 for doing so would that help? I always have to reward myself for what I don\'t have enough motivation to achieve on my own. I can\'t pay myself $1,000.00 for every time I do what I am not motivated to do but I think in terms of \'future gains\' and have a type of \'bank account\' where I earn this money/reward. Just in the cost savings for future medical problems we can avoid by being healthy will give us that paycheck and a whole lot more besides. It is real economic gain.
Be gentle with yourself and go for the \'big bucks\' :-)

You are right to take baby steps. it takes time to learn a new behavior so don\'t worry about it. slow is the best way to go. Don\'t get upset with yourself if you don\'t get everything done in one week. if you go to the gym 2x and pick a healthier food that is great. then you\'ll go to the gym 3x a week and you will be doing better. Just keep going forward. Don\'t worry if you slip. don\'t give up.
