Holy Fucking Shit Bat Man. I don't know WHAT to think. This probably has to be the WORST election day I've ever lived through. Let me be VERY clear.  My own state, Massachusetts, voted on whether or not to continue state income tax (some people are upset by wasteful government spending).  I am a public school teacher, therefore a state employee.  Funding FOR MY JOB would have been totally eliminated.  The shortfall would have to come from somewhere, and my guess is that it would be from sales tax and property tax... so a possible RESULT of THAT legislation is that I could be 1) UNEMPLOYED and 2) HOMELESS because even if I was one of the lucky ones NOT made redundant I'd be unable to AFFORD to live in our house. To my great relief, that measure did NOT pass. But then look at what's happening in California, Arizona and Arkansas, particularly the west coast: voters are deciding whether gay couples will be allowed to marry.  WHAT the FUCK!?  WHY the HELL SHOULD VOTERS BE ALLOWED TO DECIDE THAT????? My ability to provide for MY FAMILY should not BE a matter that other voters ought to have ANY MOTHERFUCKING SAY ABOUT!!!! And if religious right wing asshole voters are ALLOWED to proceed with their God-Sponsored TERRORISM  against the gay community in California...  shudder, where next?  And more importantly, what will Obama say about it, if anything?  I voted for him, but I don't think he's LGBT friendly.  I just never thought that my MARRIAGE, my JOB, and my HOME might all depend on whether or not OTHER PEOPLE thought GOD MANDATED THAT I SHOULD NOT HAVE THEM.
