What a perfect day. I can't tell you how it started, but it was nice. After breakfast I went on a 30-mile bike ride, max speed 34.8 (down a big hill!!!!), average speed 13.2. That's S-L-O-W. Given that it's only my third ride this season, well, that's always how it is when I get started. I'm hoping by October I can do a Boston-Provincetown weekend run (125 miles or so) - whether or not I'm back up to a 17 mph average by then is another story! A 20-minute dip in the pool, then up to Rockport with hubby, where we walked the beach, had dinner, he bought a lingam and we came home. Perfect weather, all my favorite things to do, quality time with the hus-bear. What a perfect day.

I love those sorts of days. I\'ll be looking forward to hearing more about your training as we get into the cool biking weather. Some day I promise you, I will a bike.
