whew. done. got an "all clear." Couch potato rest of the day, Dr.'s orders. Who am I to argue? LOL! Not allowed to drive until the sedation completely wears off. And thank goodness for what the RN called "fabulous drugs" - because I don't remember a thing!Spending the afternoon in my comfy chair next to the AC typing up class lists and name tags, listening to audio book The Wee Free Men by Terry Pratchett. Love those Nac Mac Feegles (see below). Crivens!http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nac_Mac_FeegleHope you all had a great Monday. Tomorrow I consider myself officially returned to work (even though the first mandatory meeting isn't until Wednesday). I loved having my summer off and the change of pace I had this year, plus it was great weather as well... but I am really glad to be back to school. Missed the routine, missed my colleagues, missed the kids (even the naughty ones).Every year at some point some child will ask me if I like being a music teacher, and I tell them I have the best job in the world. I get to sing, play instruments, tell stories, draw pictures, listen to music, dance, play music games, hang out with kids, tell silly jokes. All that and I get paid for it too! What a life!(Can you tell I'm still on a bit of a chemical euphoria?)later all!

Wow, you must be feeling really good! You don\'t get to use Dr.\'s orders as an excuse forever! My sisters love those Terry Pratchett books, I\'m telling them they can get them as audio books.
Nice to know your doing good... your job sounds awesome...
