Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans.I'm going to drive about 2,000 miles over the next four days - my mother's youngest sister died yesterday morning. Mother knew it was coming, she was even talking out loud about how she might try to drive there. "I'd take it in stages, maybe take two days to do it." It's a three-hour drive. She's cute, in her little old way, but not so cute behind the wheel. When she's in the carother people wonder who's got the remote control and why there's only a wisp of hair in the driver's seat.I thought I might have at least one more day before getting in the car, consequently I'm up late packing clothes, food, vitamins, gym clothes... and wondering how much coffee I"m going to need for tomorrow's (sheesh, it's so late I guess it's really TODAY'S) 10-hour shift and if I'll be able to squeeze in some kind of workout along the way. There's more to say, much much more to say, but I'm not done packing yet.
