I'm Back
At least for right now, I can say I'm Back...who knows what the new day tomorrow will be..it changes daily..
I am thankful that God and Ken has come through to give me strenght to go through the much stress lately..I am holding strong and FIRM!!
As if I don't have enough to do..I am starting a Support Type Group here where I live..
I have decided it is something that is really needed in this area..as there is not much to offer...I want it to be a bit like AA..where other's will be willing to be available to a mom who just needs to talk when whe needs to..I wonder how many new members are ones I have sent our FMO information card to in the last 3 months...I found a site that I wrote up some business cards and will be passing them out to mom's and other's that I have and will meet along this journey I am taking.
Second, I have agreed to help out at church a little more. The youth prepared a meal last night and I would say there were about 10 adults there..I used to be the youth leader at our church in Decatur, Ill several years ago..The one thing I did was when we did a project, I would always call the youth the night before...to remind them and they would all show up...So I have agreed to call the adults the night before the Wednesday dinner to remind them of it...It is a way to raise money for the youths projects..Hopefully, I can get another friend to help out....So I am taking on some heavy duty stuff...Hope I can get your help of remembering me as I take on this endevors..
Sunday will be Ken's birthday...We plan on Letting off Balloons (the family) Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the lake at Cracker Barrel...I would appreciate each of you who would join me in remembering my son Ken on his Birthday Sunday in any way you would like...a prayer, a candle,,a thought...Just know whatever you choice you make..I know I will feel your love.
Things are going pretty good here...a few problems yet to work out..but so far my mom is so much better... She went out last week shopping with me.
Well, my pain in my back and hip has been horrible..I got an injection a couple of days ago and it paralyzed me on my left side...the pain was on the right...How or why I do not know...a bit unstable yet..but much better..
I think I will hit the bed early tonight..and try to get some rest...

I think that is wonderful your reaching out to your community. Last nite I received a call from an old friend who said we now have a support group in our county. They will meet the third Monday of the month. She asked if I would attend with her as her husband passed away last year. Finally the letter writing campain after six months to the editor of our local paper paid off. I\'m looking forward to spreading the word of DS. as well. Wishing Kenny heavenly birthday wishes.
