Today
Today I have spent most of the day alone with my puppy. We or should I say "me", but she is always a willing traveler decided to go to some garage sales. Not much to find that I was looking for, but did come across some really neat wine bottles and a bike like thing which had a wine bottle in it, a wine wood things and one that holds wine. I paid $7.00 for all and since my kitchen is in fruit and wine, I felt I got a good find.
Today, after our trip to AL has been a bit emotional for me. I cried a few times and wrote to someone on face book about my Ken. She also lost her son and I told her about this site. I went to the store and just seemed I needed to talk about Ken. I shared my loss with the deli lady just a little bit, she said her daughter had lost her baby and she was having a rough time too.
So I had a few cries today which is okay now and then. I sure do miss my Ken!
Then I decided to cook ribs for dinner and they have been simmering all day, only to be decided that we are going out to eat. So I just added more ribs and will let them cook and maybe take them to my son's house tomorrow and have lunch with him.
Now my hubby calling, it's time to go meet our friends, she is the one having surgery Monday, so it's okay, my ribs can wait.

garage sales are fun especially if you find something you really like. the ribs sound good....i bet they are really tender....we went out last night with my sister and brother in law to our favorite restaurant The Wild Olive....great food....fine dining kind of place. We are going to a place called Panhandle Opry tonight with some friends where locals get together and perform....should be interesting. Then tomorrow we are taking in a matinee, Robin Hood....although it is hard to look at Russel Crowe....he reminds me of my Brandon in a way...his build. Brandon liked his movies...especially Gladiator. Keeping busy is good for us...being home alone always brings me to tears. You have a peaceful Sunday....love, dale, brandon\'s mom
We had a city wide garage sale this weekend - bargains everywhere. Lots of fun to go to...have a nice dinner out. Ribs sound good!!!!
My area the cities PTA have massive \" garage sales\" mostly kids clothes and boy did I get tons of stuff for my 3 year old client. They even had Gucci bags for kids...who knew??? Hugs, Inga
Sounds like a very productive day! You may never know the impact you had by sharing Ken, even \"just a little bit\", with others today. The ribs sound like they\'ll be fall off the bones incredible by lunchtime with your son! May your day be filled with love, Teri.
The words, \"I lost my son\" were in the forefront of my mind for many months. So many souls are mourning a loss, and by sharing, we honor our own, and sometimes help another. Life goes on, but it is so different now.
