I finally got through to the neurologist I would like to go to at Rush hospital...  the nurse grilled me on the phone asking me a million questions... then took my insurance info and said she would get back to me... a week later she calls to tell me he could see me at the end of August...    so to say the least i was very disappointed but made the appointment...  So in the meantime I will continue to go back and forth with my neuro in the neverending battle of the meds...  I see him early tues morn...  I'm pretty bummed about all this...  oh well..

I\'m so sorry sweet Paula..but remember on the bright side..at least you have an appt with the doc..many probably are turned away due to the workload..but YOU were accepted! So it is bad news and good news at the same time, right?

Though it seems so, late August isn\'t that far away as time flies. I know you wanted to see the neurologist sooner, but at least you\'ll get in to the doctor you wanted to see. Be patient and keep fighting. Hugs, Dan

Hi Paula,

I believe that your appointment was \"delayed\" until August because you are a new patient. I have been going to Rush for about two years. I usually see my neuro every three (3) months. However, I am always reminded that I can schedule an appointment at anytime I feel the need to see my neuro (DR. Dorothy Hall). On one occasion I felt I needed to make an \"unscheduled\" appointment (shoulder pains). I saw the Doctor within two days.

Take care,
Joe
