sometimes i think i'm pushing myself into the ground...   i'm so determined not to let this pd thing get me that i keep taking on new things...  it took me all week to recover from the walk and party we had afterwards but then i took on a new challenge for this weekend...  i have to start preparing for it today and hopefully my energy will be here until it's over...   i guess i understand why i do it but i can't help but wonder if i'm making this all worse by pushing so hard...   anyway...  other than that feeling good today ...
my son sent me a youtube video of MJ Fox doing a little spoof on parkinson's...   i love him and i love to keep my sense of humor about it all like he does i think that's important...  but i can't help but wonder when other people laugh at it, people with out parkinson's is it because they think that's what pd is, just the shakes?   to be honest before i was diagnosed i knew nothing about pd and actually thought that way..i'm gonna stop this because i'm going to say something negative and i'm trying not to be negative today...   new daily goal....

It\'s hard to find the right balance between doing what we want to do and doing what our bodies will allow us to do, isn\'t it. Trust your instincts and don\'t be afraid to back off a bit if necessary.

I also knew nothing about Parkinson\'s before I was DX. My first thoughts about it, after the shock wore off were \"oh well so what if I shake\". I had no ideal, no clue at all what this disease is and what it can do. But thats OK cause we live, learn, and deal with what we have to - no more and no less.

Good goal!
