My school district just let go close to 1100 empoyees and last year they let go 400.  What a mess IL is in - they say 17,000 teachers will lose their jobs this yr in my state because of no money.  Here I thought spec ed wouldn't be a problem - now I'm starting to get very worried. I'll certainly lose the house if  I don't find a job.  I dread looking for another job for the 3rd yr in a row - I don't feel I can deal with it anymore.  There's too many bad things and never anything positive.
