Still really busy. I am still having some mood swings. My phobia of people though seems to be getting worse. I have been trying to get on SSI cuz of my problems, and my husbands income alone isn't enough for us all to live on. They are not believing me about it though and keep denying me. So I decided to try to get a job, but I can't even work up the nerve to wal in and ask for an application. How am I supposed to find a job when I am scared to even ask someone for an application? It makes me so mad that they don't believe me about the problems I have.

I\'m not sure what SSI is, but maybe approach your local doctor about getting a specialist referral? A medical history always helps if you\'re trying to prove you have a specific condition... as for working up the nerve to ask for a job - walk in like it doesn\'t matter if they hire you or not, like you\'ve got all the options in the world, smile, be friendly, and pretty soon, someone will take you on. Try and pick something you have an interest in - if you like gardening, maybe try as a florist salesperson - if clothes maybe as a sales assistant in any clothing/footwear store. Good luck honey - you can do it!

Find a psychiatrist and get him or her to evaluate whether you can work or not. Usually SSI has their own procedure for evaluation that you may have to go through. Maybe you know all of this? Last resort is get a lawyer.

I feel your pain regarding applying for SSI. I\'ve been trying to get it for Shaun, and I\'m not having any luck either. Stinks, doesn\'t it?
