I was lying in bed and a thought came in my head. Unfortunatly it was a bad one. I started thinking about the day my uncle died. It's been almost a year. There are two things that made the death even worse. One, we had an argument a few days before that and we never got to make up before he died. After all, he was only in his mid 40's, I never thought he would go then. The other thing was having to tell his son. My cousin and I have always been very close. He was in school and our aunt and I went to the school. The principal went to get him out of class. He came walking down the stairs and said, "what's up?" He never would have imagined what we were about to tell him. He thought everything was ok and we came to get him to go somewhere or something. It hurts me so bad. I can't get that image out of my head. I know I should be over it by now, but I can't quit thinking about that day in the school. His dad will never get to see him graduate, get married, or have a family of his own. He had to go through life without his dad. He will not have his dad there for all the important things that a boy needs his dad for. It is 3am and I can't sleep now. I have to be up by 8am to get my son ready for school and take him. I'm going to probly sleep in and he will be late. That's not unusual though. He's always late. I suck as a mom.
