I heard this on the radio this afternoon...the dj was a doctor and he learned about this in medical school...i thought it was kinda cool...so next time i feel like there is no point...even tho I don't get it most times...well, there might be:
He said there were huge odds against us being here...he went on to say, "...millions of sperm and only YOU got thru!! You are a Gold-Medal winner...there was only 1 egg, a unique egg with unique properties, which was available only one-time....no second chances here....you had only one shot....and you beat out all of the other millions, not thousands, but millions of sperm trying to get there!
So, as you're driving along in your car, or in the store, take a good look at all of the other Gold-Medal winners around you...cuz no matter what happens, or how bad it gets, you will always be a Gold-Medal winner for making it here! And no one can take that away from YOU, EVER! "
