Alright Fine!!
The stupid message thing is not working and I can't send my message through so I'm gonna just type it in journal form....
....alright now this thing about families and all...I just want to say that although I think that bloodlines can be great and all and perhaps comforting in the familiarity of it all, and that is how species work and all that, I guess...isn't it well just a little bit messed up in a way??
I mean doesn't the whole FAMILY picture and set-up separate us from each other?? Wouldn't it be better to just have us being one huge family of one
instead of a bunch of separate families with distinctions that divide us usually rather than unite us?? I mean each group of "family" each little bunch of your familiar lives have their own sort of separative structure with this EGO-CENTERED STYLE to it....not only are we competing in some way with other families but we also compete with each other...actually the whole world is based in competition really
....you have to compete to survive...always fighting something...battles are constantly being waged inside and outside of our bodies...it's sad really
...and the family...the bloodlines...do nothing but divide us further; we group families into religions
so that a whole group can be separate...then some have created additional divisions within a religion... sects
...dividing themselves up so that now a whole group of a particular religion is even split apart
......FORGET ABOUT SOCIAL DIVISIONS!!...man it's messed up!!
...
As individuals we were ALL once one with our mothers...sharing the same lifeform...from the time of birth the separation occured....is our whole life just one big attempt to become one, to feel that unified self again? To somehow correct all the problems created from being born?? To try to feel connected again only TO BE ABLE TO in some second-hand way with "strangers" ? To connect with each other seems like a futile effort! And glorification of a Family-Unit only serves to ultimately push each other away from each other...it's really a clever way of perpetuating a species though....the psychological mindfuck that occurs after birth and later on as we are forced to fight and struggle to have our needs met is the "perfect storm" a species needs to keep going and survive....I guess the best solution to the
unsolvable IS to create another family / since a family of ONE on this planet--A
FAMILY OF HUMAN BEING--appears impossible---THIS "ONE FAMILY" OF HUMAN
BEING...MIGHT ultimately occur at death..ALTHOUGH NO LONGER IN HUMAN FORM..., if it's gonna happen AT ALL.
...reminds me of the "Imagine" song BY JOHN LENNON
Yeah...he had the right idea...

The sadness for some is that foolishly think that they will win the battles and even when they have lost the fight..they stand up and try to win it again and again..Okay then we wait for the final blow..we wait for the rug to be yanked out from under our feet..were are down for the count..no wait let me get up one more time and allow you to knock me down one more time...But that in it self is survival..you can only survive what you can overcome..what you can conquer and be on top of..So bring on the next battle and the next debilitating blow..because I want to survive and I am willing to take a beating or put up a fight to do it...
Well H.... A lot to work thru on that journal entry!!!! Hope your well, haven\'t seen you online for a while....
*hugs* sometimes i have no response! but your journals are always fantastically written.
Love is union with somebody, or something, outside oneself, under the condition of retaining the separateness and integrity of one\'s own self.
Erich Fromm
Harry, I can see your point but respectfully disagree. Growing up in a family unit which was extremely toxic and non-functional I never thought that I would now have a family unit that is bound by love and happinessm but I\'ve been blessed thus.
My parents constantly \'told\' us they loved us, but never showed it. We constantly show our children we love them and we don\'t have to tell them. The family unit is very important for nurturing and building social skills for children to become adults who know who they are and what their standards are when they go into the wide world to make a way for themselves. But in their mind there is always the safe haven of the \'family unit\' where they can come to be replenished and refreshed.
We could not have a more diverse family, as you already know about all the disorders and illnesses we have, yet we do and still learn everyday to take each one\'s needs into concideration.
We have one motto: \"It is more satisfying to give than to received.\"
But something I truyl believe is what Aristotle had to say about friendship.
\"A true friend is one soul in two bodies. \"
