Too Bad my computer decided to black out after I had written down all of last nights "dream" ....the whole thing!! uhgg!! So, in leu of that...I'm pretty sure it has occured to most of us....the meaninglessness of life....that is the reason why there is all this talk about it to begin with!...the main fear we have as human beings is Death...the big "D", the empty void of nothingness we face at the end of our short time being on the planet...we are all BTD (born to die) and are dying from the moment of birth....and I believe it's that reality that we are pushing under the carpet, avoid dealing with, and ultimately, is the source of ALL OUR FEARS!! ALL OF THEM!! IF There was NO death, EVER,...how many things do you really feel you would be afraid of afterall?? Probably not too many I would guess... So, are we simply an evolutionary quirk? That is a possibility...although I find it hard to comprehend the beginning of the beginning of the beginning...where the evolutionary process begins...and if you have an answer to that, then what was present BEFORE that, and so on??? It is the ultimate question which has no answer it seems...perhaps you can accept it and live your life, and in reality we all must do that, however, I find the conversation of it (which in reality IS all of what life boils down to: Simply a series of conversations) fascinating, and especially how each human being grapples with his or her own mortality, and lack of knowing the beginning of it all. Where did I come from? Where am I going? Where did we come from? Where are we going?

ouch this journal is hurting my brain!!!
Harry, this sounds like a Humanities 101 lecture!
What is life?
When does life begin?
What is death?
When does death happen?
Does life determine death?
Does death determine life?
Does one change the other?
What is one without the other?
i speak now from my own personal beliefs.
while i do believe in reincarnation... i am not so concerned with it. i cannot know for certain that i have lived previous lives, nor do i know that i will live future lives.
i do not worry about the beginning of the universe, as it really does not matter. i do not worry about my death and what will happen after it, as it really does not matter either. i choose to live my life, today, each moment, and only in each moment, because... why worry and fret over such trivial things? sure, it\'s not troublesome to debate such things, the origin, the end, death, life, and time... but, i worry not. all i know is this life, and i choose to live it the best i can, when i have the strength. :)
