Tough
It has been three years today when I lost my son to suicide. In some ways it seems like yesterday and other ways it seems like many more years ago. Things have improved but there are still those times when you have that empty feeling and want to cry. I miss him a lot and love him dearly, but I still have a real problem forgiving him for what he put us through and what he did to his two children. They are the ones who have missed out on the most with him being gone. I have written for a while but have read what others have gone through and just what to say that time does make it easier.

Three long years, seems impossible, and then at other times, like me, missing my daughter for 11 years, the memories are as vivid as yesterday. I have the same feelings as you, off and on, it\'s just so hard to release the pain, the absence and the thought that our children did this to themselves (and also left young ones to suffer and not understand), as unintentional as it was, a mental breakdown, whatever you want to call it, I don\'t think they were rationale at the time of their decision. A permanent solution to a temporary problem, that\'s what the experts say. We\'ll never know, but to be united one day in a place where there are no tears is the biggest hope and prayer for me. I hope having DS FMO to come to when you are missing your son so bad helps you as much as it has helped me. Truly your friend, BarbaraWawa
Much peace and love being sent to you on this day. Time just keeps marching on. I wonder how we get through but we do. Take care of yourself.
