SAD
It has been 11 months, almost to the hour, that my son took his life and it has been a real hard day for all of us. I don't think he could have realized all the people he hurt by doing what he did. I am still angry with him but not near as muc as a few months ago. I really miss him and being able to talk to him and go over different things that we were going to do together. I go along some days feeling pretty darn good and then the botton falls out and all the hurt returns. I know we will never get over this but I do hope as time goes on those hurtful periods will become less and less. My wife and I were talking the other day and saying that what he did has taken much of the joy out of living. I am just so thankful to my wonderful daughter and her family and my daughter in law and her family, we do love them so much.

Tomorrow will be nine years that my Denise decided to leave this world. I still find it hard to believe that she has left this way and will not return. I feel she is just away. I can relate to you pain and frustration. Be well. Truly your friend, BarbaraWawa
Grieving is cyclical and we are all on this roller coaster together. I think to a certain extent, as you say, the cycles will keep on rolling for the rest of our lives but, as you also hope and say, the hurtful periods will become less and less and the times of peace, comfort and even joy will become stronger. Our daughter was snatched from us a year ago in July when a drunk driver struck and killed her. Although she was an innocent victim, at times we also feel anger, not only at the driver but at her for going away. It\'s completely irrational but I think that grieving stirs up our deepest fears and emotions.
It sounds like you and your wife are doing well. Keep on enjoying your daughter and daughter-in-law and their families ~ what a blessing to have grandchildren!
Sending hugs of understanding to you ~ Debbie
Wishing you peace. It\'s okay to feel joy.... Love the people you have in your life!

Mike and I and were saying the very same thing this morning as we were traveling to town.....I said, \" Life just doesn\'t hold any joy even though we should be happy....never without our Brandon.\" As I have said before.....I have not been mad at Brandon ever for what happened.....something was not right or he would NEVER have done this to us. We never saw this coming....ever. We always speculate and question with no real answers but we do know that this is not a rational act and that there are things that cannot be explained. I keep you in my heart and prayers...God is the only way through all of this. Love in Christ....dale, brandon\'s mom
