This morning as I waiting ever so patiently to use the bathroom (DH was taking a long time and I really needed to go), I was listening to the news. I was so upset when I heard about Cuba and Hurricane Ike...then the announcer began to talk about a mudslide in China. All I could think about was why  was this happening? SO I decided to look for answers in the bible. The first page that I opened too (by acident) was Psalm 143 A prayer in distress. So I read it and prayed for those people who are effect by these natural disasters and also for the relief workers.Tonight as I read some of journals posted by others, I realized that Psalm 143 was divine intervention. God works in mysterious ways. For those who feel hopeless, frustrated and in dispair this is for you...Psalm 143Lord, hear my prayer,in your faithfulness, listen to my pleadinganswer me in yoru justice Do not enter into judgment with your servantbefore you no living being can be justThe enemy has pursued methey have crushed my life to the groundThey have left me in darknesslike those long dead My spirit is faint within memy heart is dismayedI remember the days of oldI ponder all you deedthe works of your hands I recall I stretch out my hands to youI thirst for you like a parched landHasten to answer me Lordfor my spirit fails me Do not hide your face from me lest I become like those descending to the pit.At dawn let me hear of your kindnessfor in you I trust Show me the path I should walkfor to you I entrust my lifeRescue me, Lord from my foesfor in you I hopeteach me to do your willfor you are my God  May your kind spirit guide me on ground that is levelFor your name's sake, Lord give me lifein your justice lead me out of distressIn your kindness put an end to my foesdestroy all who attack mefor I am your servant.
