Second day at work and it has not been very emotional. At times when it was quiet my mind would wander and I would think of the child we lost, but because there is so much happening and so much marking, I am quickly reminded that thinking about anything else is a luxgury. I was almost positive that we won the lottery, but then realized that we did not. I guess I just need something to fill the void. I keep asking Dan for a dog, but luckily he is not driven by his emotions or else we would have a house full of animals.I think I am coming to terms with what happened. It helped that one of the secretaries revealed that her m/c was like mine and that three months later she concieved and gave birth to a healthy child. She said the pain does not go away but you accept it and move on...never forget just move on. Her eyes misted as she told about the m/c which happened to be on the same day as my return to work...talk about karma. I know that my child is in heaven playing with their cousin and my brother...I know that Duane is taking care of them....it is comforting to believe that.I feel stronger than before...the human heart can take a lot and never break. With lots of love and care I will survive and continue to thrive. My collegues have been so supportive...I keep getting hugs...and the love is so appreciated.
