update
Hi Everyone,
Well it is finally spring in the south. I think it got into the eighties yesterday. I have pulled out the shorts and tank tops! Don't look all that good at my age but who cares? I will be 65 next Wednesday and honestly can't believe it! Now of course when I look in the mirror I know dang well that I will be 65!! funny what you imagine how you look and go by the mirror and be shocked at HOW you look????
Steve is doing ok. Up days and down days. Mostly up, he is still strong and doing all the regular stuff. Mowing the grass and bossing me around. I have spoiled him since he got sick. Now I am old myself! Hah It will be 15 years in August since he had his kidney removed. Stage 4 since 2002! His doctors stand amazed at him and so do I. If you are a newby be encouraged!! Don't give in to the "go home and take care of things" !! Thats what he was told in 2002! He has lived his life to the fullest and is so grateful for every day. He will tell you that he and God are handling his sickness, won't read about it. He lets me talk for him!
I pray all of you are doing the best you can and dealing with cancer the best you know how. One day at a time for us!!
Much love, Wanda in NC

Dearest Wanda - glamorous gran! I cannot believe you are in shorts - it is STILL snowing and sleeting here! We are all frozen and sick of it. All the flowers are refusing to come out - and who can blame them.
Steve is a Trojan, and so are you my friend - you need to be in order to be the lifeline to him that you are.
Love, light, blessings as ever are winging their way across the ocean to you

My dear Wanda,
So good to hear about how you and Steve are doing. Agree warm weather is creeping upon us.
Continued prayers my friend.
Luv and hugs from Texas,
Annette
Steve is indeed a miracle man~~! And you are his miracle woman.
Godspeed..........you are so very fortunate to have survived this insidious cancer. Truly blessed, both of you.
Hey I am an old bag too. It\'s not so bad. I get discounts now ; )
Wanda that is wonderful news. :) I was reading on my weather page that TX got some good weather and looks as if it is sticking around! Yeppi!!! Its just like Florida baby! Touched by Gods finger.. ;)
Love you

Dear Wanda, I may be late in seeing this journal, but I enjoyed reading it very much. Firstly, you know I am right with you on this aging thing. I am proud of you for digging out the shorts and being comfortable! At our accomplished age, we don\'t need to inhibit ourselves.
Regarding Steve, he truly is a brave soul to live with the shadow of this awful cancer for so many years. You are also an amazing person to endure the fear and worry all these years. I honestly hope and pray that Steve will see a complete cure one day.
I wish you a wonderful spring. Love, Linda
