Thank you

I want to thank each of you for the prayers spoken for Steve yesterday. My heart is overflowing with love for you all.  I so look forward to my time with all of you. You will never know how comforting it is to have friends praying for you.  (well that was a silly statement, of course you know)
As I walked down to the mailbox this morning the leaves were falling all around me. It was a very pretty site to see leaves raining down from the sky.  It used to really depress me when everything died in the fall. That was when I was much younger and not as strong in my faith.  But as I got older I began to equate fall with the Bible,  God's holy word. As the leaves die in the fall so must we die. But look to the spring when everything awakes to life again.  So shall we,  we will be born again! ( I know some of you don't share my faith so I will get down from the pulpit now) 
Don't get me wrong I don't like the long winters with the long nights. But aren't we lucky to live somewhere where we experience all four seasons? 
I want to wish all of you a Happy Thankgiving and I send you  wishes for a day without the pain of cancer.  Hug the people you love and I send you each my love too.  Wanda
