todays stages. my partner opened up to me with a simple touch that let me know that we would sleep soundly. i hate sleep fighting. (when you go to bed angry) woke up with a smile on my face i layed next to him and woke him up with just looking at him. he gave me a beautiful smile, kissed me and got out of bed. he got out of bed started to get dressed. i felt a little rejected but i pursued searching for his affection. i got up too and began to get dressed. while i was fiddling around in the kitchen, he came and asked where his pocket knife was. i could tell in his tone that this could turn to an agressive discussion. i held my ground and simply said i don't know. he then just said, oka baby gotta go. Now, to most this would seem insignificant but to women like me this is quite telling. most of the time we live in "test" mode. every question, comment, discussion is for the purpose of getting information out of us, checking for lying, changed story or just trying you. eventually this gets old and leads to more agressive communication. my goal is to keep it at this stage. no further.

Hang in there, I love that you\'re doing your research. I didn;t have that option, the abuse would\'ve eventually killed me. I pray for you constantly, and check your journal everyday to make sure you are still okay. I\'m proud of you for realizing that the previous behavior wasn\'t acceptable, alot of woman can\'t even admit that. I\'m here if you need me, xoxo
just checking on you too...one day at a time..xo
