These dreams are really affecting my daily living, i just don't really understand how dreams work or why we have them. The last one I had really put me in a place where i want to understand what it meant.

Dreams I\'ve heard are messages from The Lord, they can be signs of things to come or can serve as warnings, the other side to this is that they may reflect what one holds in one\'s heart and it can be some form of condemnation if it\'s sometime that is either negative or one consciously knows is not in your best interest. The Lord Protect you and keep you under His guidance, Bless you!

Listen to your dream! You have only just left an abusive relationship -- this IS the MOST dangerous time for you, really! Elsewhere I\'ve seen you contemplating resuming contact -- please don\'t! You could be physically in danger -- and, at the very least, you ARE definitely in danger of having your independence, your health, and your ability to care about yourself destroyed by continuing to relate to an abuser! Please read my profile and also the books I\'ve recommended in the physical and emotional abuse group! I agree with the previous writer -- your dreams are messages that can protect you -- they tell you what you really already know but have learned to deny when \"awake\"! Please, please listen to your dreaming self -- that dreamer can speak with the truest voice you\'ll hear! She says \"DANGER!\" loud and clear! It\'s just like a road sign -- you must turn yourself around and take another path, for safety\'s sake!
Is there a group in your area that may have counseling, support groups, and advocacy for people who\'ve been through what you\'ve experienced in terms of Domestic Abuse? They may be able to help in so many ways from the social to the very practical (like doing something about that empty fridge -- one of our local groups has their own food pantry just for this reason -- and, yes, I\'ve used it and been very happy to have this help)! And you will meet people who understand what you\'re going through without minimizing it! You need this!

Try calling some of these:
Oklahoma Safeline - Oklahoma City Metro Area - 522-SAFE (7233)
National Domestic Violence Hotline - 1-800-799-SAFE (7233)
Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network Hotline - 1-800-656-HOPE (4673)
Oklahoma Coalition Against Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault (M-F/9-5) Referrals 405-524-0700
Domestic Violence Hotline - YWCA Oklahoma City, 73102 - (405) 917-9922

Or, try a Google search like this one: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=%22Domestic+Violence%22+%22Oklahoma+City%22

Open your heart to the idea that there are GOOD, SAFE people who will WANT to help you stay safe and meet your needs SAFELY!

PS -- I\'ve heard it said that all characters in your dreams represent YOU! In dreams like yours, it could be said that you\'re seeing that your thoughts and actions (thinking of contacting abuser, resuming a bad relationship) are putting you in danger, are hurting you, are potentially killing you! I think this is what\'s meant by \"condemnation\" -- it\'s just YOU doing the condemning, telling yourself this way of acting is VERY WRONG FOR YOU! It\'s like the signs that are put on UNSAFE buildings -- they say \"CONDEMNED\" -- meaning \"don\'t even think about living here\"!
With your dreams, your inner self has put a big \"CONDEMNED\" sign on your abusive ex-, so don\'t even think about going back!
