I am so satisfied with the steps i have made. I plan on reading more and studing more on the whys of domestic abuse.

Look for books that focus on issues of power and control as the basis for Domestic/Partner abuse, the initial studies were done by a program referred to as the Minnesota Model. Good to see you are doing great, the Lord\'s blessings always!
