Oka so i made a plan to get out safely...now i need a plan to stay out permanently... Any one have advise on that? What trips me up are when he asks me questions (any ques) i freeze up. I never have an answer and when I do I can't speak. Its like I'm in shock and can't get my words out. I'm that way with one guy i work with too. For some reason these two have that affect on me. I want to figure it out and move on.

You may need to evaluate what you have available to you in terms of friends, and agencies around you that can be of support to you. Find out where are the local Domestic Violence shelters around you, call ahead before leaving, to find out what their capacity is and availability in space. You\'re going to need to save money and keep it available, suitcases outside the home, include any important documents, medication, don\'t forget your bible (look for scriptures that offer you comfort and strength... like the book of Esther), etc. It sounds as though you are intimidated by both these men, do they look down upon women? Do you feel as though they are projecting a sense of power over you? When you contact the shelter ask for women\'s resources within your area, also look in your yellow/white phone books for the 24 hour hotline in your locality, it\'s usually listed behind the cover page with all the other emergency numbers (fire, police, etc.). Make as many people around you aware of what your situation is once you leave, also don\'t rely on your feelings, set up guidelines regarding why you are making the decision you are making and then keep them handy, focus on doing the right (best for you and family) decision rather than on how you feel. Letting go is a process, you will become clearer in your thinking by focusing only on the decisons needed for your wellbeing, and those of the family. I pray once again for your safety and that of your family, that Our Lord provide you and the family with His Protection and Guidance, as well as all else that you may need, the Lord Bless you, I ask this in His Holy name. Amen!
