Green Smiley Monday
So it is Monday and I am feeling a bit melancholy. The green part is my friend - from nurses' training - is coming to visit on the weekend.
I went shopping, thinking that would cheer me up. In my usual fashion, I hemmed and hawed and felt a bit guilty spending a ton of money. My purchases were: underwear and a bottle of hand soap! Not bad for 3 hours of shopping! As Joe says, I don't have a problem with spending $10,000 a year traveling but I have trouble justifying a $20 purchase. It is true LOL.

Well i agree with you - a always shop like im pinching pennies but think nothing of giving out the credit card # to the travel agent..go figure. When i can\'t travel i will not even want all the fancy stuff i could have bought. its just who i am. Rose
Just looked at the pix and they are wonderful! Your husband certainly captured some amazing shots and as we get some gathered for the website may we use a few of these?
I am not a shopper at all and my late mom used to wonder how I even had any clothes to put on my body. LOL! Guess that\'s why I needed to move to a tropical island where I hardly have to wear any. :)
Have a lovely time with your friend this weekend and to look at some of your other travel adventures that are on Joe\'s blog is incredible. The love of travel and wander lust is a passion for the two of you and how blessed you are to have the health and means to make it happen.

Joe has no problem with his photos being copied. However he tried to download some and couldn\'t. If you want any, let us know and he can email them to you. Sorry about that. M
I\'m the same way. I will wear something until it is falling apart, but I have no problem spending money on a vacation if I have it.
