I am smiling because it has warmed up! We had a lot of snow so our friend refers to the houses next to the puddles 'lakefront property'. There was a virtual river coming down our hill.
It is always hard for me to come home after a wonderful vacation so have been down. I am back to busy - a community meeting tonight and a board meeting tomorrow. I usually cheer up when I have something to do other than housework and laundry!

So happy your weather is warming up. Last week here in NC was cold, wet and miserable, but yesterday and today is breathtaking. Warm, sunny and 60 to 70 degrees. Not a cloud in the sky. Beautiful weather does lift our spirits so much. Getting back into routine after a great vacation is difficult. No joy in doing laundry and housework.......prefer being out in lawn and garden, or just taking a long slow walk, or doing something creative. Sending love and some of (not all - keeping some for myself) our lovely sunshine and warmth. Katrina
I\'m trying to picture the \'river\' in my mind. The warming up part is sure good -- it has been a long and difficult winter for many.

We are in the snow then 50\'s, snow then 40\'s, snow then 60\'s. So far that is kind of the usual for Colorado.

This winter has been the worse I\'ve ever seen in Arkansas and it\'s obvious we\'re not alone. I\'m so ready for spring as we all are. I heard on the news this morning that Lake Michigan is 93% covered with ice -- they said that it\'s some kind of record breaker. We\'re not anywhere near that area but it just struck me.

In a lot of ways, I feel thankful in that we in the North are prepared for crappy winters. I was shocked when we were stuck in Dallas overnight. It was cold and sleeting. There was still snow on the ground in the morning. Today is not as warm bur still above freezing.
Watch out for the next weather report - when we have our \'surprise\' spring blizzards!

Hi Marlene, glad your home safe and had a good trip. We have had a very bad winter here in Massachusetts. Lots and lots of snow & sub-zero weather. This past weekend was warmer but snow is predicted for Wednesday. :( And experts are also predicting flooding in the spring so we may have waterfront property too, lol.
I like to keep busy too. I think less that way. When I retire in 3 years I plan on doing lots of volunteering.

OMG. so happy it is warming up! This has been one killer winter! I have so much mud outside my courtyard and have feel down at least a few times this year, in between the snow and then mud LOL... Knee is skinned up now. Sorry for anyone who might still get snow, but I think ours is over and gee, am I happy about that!

We are getting a cold spell tonight (3/13) tomarrow it will be 42 warm up to the 70\'s then warmer for the weekend. We are having bike weeks in this area lots of bikes from Canada and the North. It is good riding weather, cool but sunny. The bikers like to spend money so the economy is good right now for us. My daughter is a waitress the tips are good the more beer the bigger the tip.
