Green Smiley Monday
I do have something to smile about today.
We had Cevyn from Friday evening until yesterday morning. Andrew and Tiina came down on Friday and left on Saturday evening. It was a quick visit but we had a great time. Andrew had us all laughing uproariously! Harvey picked Cevyn up at noon - she had to get her hair done for the 5 o'clock wedding. Fyi, I was pleasant to Harvey.
It always amazes me to see how tall and beautiful Cevyn is. She is the same height as Joe - 5'11" or 6'. She says she doesn't like being so tall but bought shoes that make her about 6'3"! Her mother must be so proud of her. It brings tears to my eyes to think that Lisa can't be here to watch her grow and give her hugs.
My other smiley is John Cleese. We saw him last evening on his 'final tour before I die'. He is as hilarious in person as he was on Python and Fawlty Towers. He talked about his life, showed clips, told stories about his experiences with the comedians he worked with., and the evolution of humor. He had the audience laughing for almost 2 hours. Not bad for a guy over 70. Actually when he came on stage, he said that he knew what the audience was thinking "He's old!"
Today is election day. My fingers are crossed for Druh.

Hope the elections go the way you want them to. It\'s really embarrassing how you Canadians know our politics but us Americans don\'t know much about your politics. Sometimes I thing the popular belief that we in the US are a little too full of ourselves is based in fact.
So glad you got to have a good time with Cevyn, and Andrew and Tina also. Cevyn sounds so beautiful. I think height in a lady is majestic.

Laughter is the BEST medicine and however one can find it go for it. I am not familiar with John Cleese so I must be missing something and will Google him to learn more.
