Checking in

Well I had a meltdown yesterday.  I went to demo the presentation I was supposed to give.  I made no sense, and all I wanted to do was cry - which I did.  I couldn't read, I stammered and was literally a basket case.  I am going back next week, hopefully in a better frame of mind.
The upside is - Lisa sent a hawk to say Hi to Lorraine and me.  I was sitting in Lorraine's living room and a hawk swooped down in to her yard and back up again.  It was beautiful.  We looked out and saw it flying over the houses.  Lorraine lives in a quite a dense neighbourhood.  She has quite a small back yard so it was wonderful to see.  I see hawks around our area but we have tall trees and a lot of open space.  That hawk had to be way out of its territory!
I'm feeling better today.
Hugs,  Marlene

Oh Marlene...I am so sorry about the meltdown. It is okay...we just have to go with the flow of emotions some times.

So neat about the hawk...that is one of our signs from Alex too!

Love to you!

What a nice sighting of the hawk! Remarkable bird of prey. Amazing to watch.
Those meltdowns come knocking us off kilter now and again don\'t they?
I am keeping you and Lorraine and Lisa close to my heart.

Oh Marlene, you are so hard on yourself. I know just what happened, and could tell you some tales of my most awful times. It\'s over, and you Marlene, is still a smart and wonderful woman. Anyone who knows you knows this. I love having you as my dear friend, Abby

ah, those meltdowns moments....they catch me at weird times and places too... I\'m sorry for your heartache. Gosh we miss them so much!!

I love hawks too....as a matter of fact, my home/property is named Castlehawk, and we have lots of hawks flying around, hunting and even sometimes battling it out with other birds. They seem to be a very intense and focus and fearless animal.

I love that Lisa uses hawks to say HI MOM....even \"way out of their territory\"! Just goes to show Lisa knows just when to \"swoop\" in and cheer you up!

Next week will be better. Love you!

So understandable Marlene and with all that is in your heart at this present time with your friend, Lorraine compounds the heartfelt feelings indeed.

Happy for a check in and just keep doing what you\'re doing. One foot in front of the other and knowing you are not alone in those meltdowns for a moment.

Much love!

I forgot to add how wonderful it is to have seen the hawk and those winks arrive just when one needs them. Keep them coming, Lisa. :)

Hi Marlene, It is still so amazing to me how our brains just simply don\'t work the same way they did....I\'m so sorry about your meltdown. I\'m glad you are feeling better. I LOVE Hawks! They are so strong and focused. I looked up the totem of Hawk and found this: Red Tailed Hawk Affirmation Card: I am healed and empowered through my visions. My life moves forward. How cool is that?!!! Here is the link for a site that explains the meaning of different animal visions and totems...there is a lot on the Hawk there! http://morningstar.netfirms.com/hawktotem.html It is really neat! Lisa was saying \"Hi\" for sure!!

Thanks for the reference Ann! I love watching hawks too - we have had them nesting near our condo so often saw them soaring - so graceful. Unfortunately, some of our residents have balconies opposite the nest. The hawks were protecting their babies so attacked 2 or 3 people. One guy had to have stitches. We had the nest removed so hopefully they will find a more appropriate place to nest. I have never seen one so close up before.
I am looking forward to seeing you in Boston!

Marlene, your stress level is very high, meltdowns happen. Sometimes we have hawks in our back yard, they watch for the little birds and come in and swoop. Only the strong survive, Your are strong !

I\'m also glad that you recovered from the meltdown. Being so close to Lisa\'s birthday was probably part of the reason for not feeling well. We all have those days...they just get fewer and farther apart, is my observation. The hawk story was fabulous, as was Ann\'s reference info! Love it! Love and Hugs, Donna

Marlene, I am not as sharp as I was before Eddie passed. I can certainly empathize with what happened. I know you will rebound. You are an intelligent & competent woman. That was just a moment in time.
I love that this healing hawk was there for you and Lorraine. I am sure Lisa had a hand in this experience. Hugs, Linda
