Green Smiley Monday
Monday again. I have had a fairly good week. We went to the theater on Saturday and saw Pride and Prejudice. I've seen it before but I enjoyed it again.
I am trying to enjoy the 4 seasons. We walked to the theater in a snow squall. Winter is almost here and I am determined not to let it get me down. The smiley part of the weather is the fact that we are going to Equador and Peru in January. By then I will be needing sunlight.
I am not going to work any more. I am a bit antsy about it. I get down easily when I am not really busy. Right now I am feeling a bit of anxiety - like something is missing - hard to describe. It may be because when I called Cevyn, her step mom answered. We had a very pleasant conversation, but I find it very hard.
The debate is on but I am not watching. I get frustrated listening to politicians. I watched the last one but I am not in the mood tonight. I will hear all about it until election day.
As I read what I have written, my green is not as brilliant as I'd like but at least it is green.
Lisa: I guess the emptiness is the fact that you are not on this earth. I miss you always and love you forever,

It might not be as green as you like,,,,but from where I sit,,,it\'s the only green one ...so kudos to you! I hope you can find a happy business to take the place of working....((hugs))
Glad to hear it\'s been a fairly good week my friend. Developing new \"routines\" in one\'s day is not always easy so I\'m sure with time you will figure out what it is you need and it will change daily as you do.
Oh, to have a wonderful trip to look forward to is the best and I too love the changing seasons. We are on the cusp of some cold, snow and major changes here in Utah too.
You are doing your best and even to be able to feel to know that the anxiety is there is so important. It\'s okay not to be able to pin point what the cause may be yet to know that feeling and to acknowledge it as you are is positive.
Here\'s to another day that you get to create and oh, perhaps a cake baking business is in the cards! :) The one you made for your friend sounded delicious!
Much love
Joanie
Even wanted and needed change can be a challenge for us to totally wrap our heads around. I understand my friend and I stand with you.
I hear what you\'re saying too about Cevyn\'s stepmom answering the phone....of that it could be Lisa..... deep breath in, deep exhale out....
Roger and I are again talking of retirement. I\'m ready, he\'s not. Hard to convince a workaholic to quit his job! He\'s promised me next year...we shall see.
So happy you two can travel and enjoy so many fascinating places around our globe! I would love to be able to do the same....some day, some day....
It may not be as green as you\'d like, but I am with you in celebration of ANY shade of green!!!
I love you my friend!
There is always a bit of pain whenever I see pictures of my little Raegan in the arms of the new boy friend. Just a reminder that our child is no longer here. Similar to the step mother answering the phone.
Glad you got to enjoy Pride & Prejudice. It\'s one of my favorites.
Lovely wishes for a pleasant week...Debbie
I can\'t listen to the debates either since Jason has passed and I use to be a political junky. Jason and I use to talk all the time about what was said and going on during the campaigns but now I hardy even know who is running. I just don\'t care anymore.
I know what you mean about something missing being retired. I always feel guilty about doing nothing, I feel like I should be contributing, but then I reason that I did my share, still the feeling persists.
You\'ll be going to South America in the middle of Summer down there. What a shock in temperature change it is going to be for you. Those are the best of vacations, getting out of the winter. Not that I know from experience, just seems that it would be.
Sending love,
Terry
Let not working grow on you. It takes time and practice. I know you must keep busy to you dont become board and depressed. Your traveles sound so fun, I travel with you through your pictures. You may need to stop in FL during your winters just to warm up from the cold and snow. I have not seen everything there is to see in this state but what I have seen I will recomend to anyone.
Happy Trails
Hugs Penny
