Green Smiley Monday
It is Monday and a bit late. All in the East are snoozing, I am sure - I hope.
I finally had a good sleep last night after my brother's funeral. And today, my friend and I went for a long sweaty walk and lunch; sweaty because it was 30C - probably 90F - hot. I hadn't walked with Darlene for several months so we had a great time catching up.
Tonight Joe and I watched J; Edgar with Leonardo playing Hoover on HBO and quite enjoyed it - unusual for me as I mostly like comedies. Then we had pizza for supper - homemade. The movie was quite long so we had to have something quick. Joe got a pizza stone for the barbecue and I had left over dough. I have to say we now make some of the best thin crust pizza ever!
I guess I am really saying that today was very normal - no drama, no angst. It has been such a long time.
I wish all a wonderful, peaceful week.
Lisa: I miss talking to you. I miss the phone ringing at dinner time. I miss getting your calls when I am visiting Marie in Red Deer. You could always track me down. I miss your laugh.

I went for a sweaty walk this weekend with a friend too. I love being outside, smelling the grass, the dirt, LIFE. Of course we also smelled a skunk, so we had wrinkled up noses for a while! But it\'s all good in nature, even the stinky parts.
Your pizza/movie night sounds wonderful and I sure wish we could have had your homemade pizza at the retreat. I\'ve only made \"homemade\" pizza a few times. I don\'t know how to make dough, so I have to buy the ready made. Mine never turns out great.... Oh well....

I long for normal days. I keep trying and I guess that is what makes us all connected. I have never made pizza at home maybe I will try. How do you do it? Blessings to you all!!!
Grateful for a normal day. A day without drama, just friendship, movement, pleasure in the familiar and the new. Like Life, really. Marlene normal days are such a blessing anymore and I am so glad that you had one, I hope that it is followed with more for you. You can talk to Lisa anytime now and she is always with you.
