Green Smiley Monday

I am smiling - or at least trying.
I do have reasons to smile.  I have this coming week off.  I work every other week.
We did our yearly hill clean up yesterday.  There is a bluff in front of our condo.  We have homeless people who frequent the area so we go through once a year and pick up rubbish, empty beer cans (and occasionally full ones) etc.  It is a workout as the hill is fairly steep.  The great part is getting together afterwards for a meal and great conversation.
Today we go to Edmonton to visit Joe's brother-in-law.  It will be the first time we have visited since Susan died.  And of course we will visit with Andrew and Tiina.
The lovely part is that we finally have nice weather!  After a freak snow storm on Saturday, we got sunshine yesterday and it is supposed to be lovely for the rest of the week!
Have a wonderful week!

Have a wonderful week off and sounds like a great workout too getting the hillside cleaned!

Trying is what we do and I do believe I feel a smile in this journal. :)

Counting one\'s blessings will always bring forth a Green Smiley! And you have many, indeed. Thank you for posting your offering of gratitude.

The clean up sounds like a fabulous community activity and visiting family is always (well, usually...) fun!

Still ~ I feel the little tug in your words and I\'m right there with you. Little pockets of sadness trying to snatch our joys away.

Hugging you tight and sending much love as we forge ahead to Mother\'s Day ~ Debbie
