Green Smiley Monday
I am not sure if it is smiley or not. I am feeling okay but Joe, my husband is depressed. I asked him what the problem was. He said he was worried about me. He really can't understand that for me, crying is a release and a good thing. I know it is more than that. His sister is struggling with ovarian cancer, and very well may be losing the fight. I think the thought of losing me (it isn't going to happen if I can help it) is more than he can handle. I also have sinus headaches that get worse with pressure changes. He worries every time I say I have a headache and we live in a part of the country where winds and pressure changes happen a lot!
On the upside. The best decision I ever made was to marry my husband of almost 44 years. He is the kindest person I know and loves me unconditionally, and that hasn't always been easy!
Thank you all for being there. That makes me smile too!
Lisa: I am doing my best to smile. I am trying to look after your Dad. I know how much you care about him. I miss you always and love you forever.

What a beautiful love story I read behind these words. Your sweet husband is a treasure and truly something to smile about! I once gave my husband a little plaque that says, \"When I count my blessings, I count you twice.\" Sounds like you can do the same!
Tears are hard for men ~ I think I may have finally convinced Rick that it\'s okay when I cry ~ but he still doesn\'t like it!
Sending prayers of ease and healing for your husband\'s sister and much love to you for sharing a smile with us ~ Debbie
What a wonderful way to make it a Green Smiley. Men seem to mourn so differently than we women do. They just get upset if they can\'t just fix it! We will be married 40 years in July and my hubby is the best too, but we sure can\'t communicate about our loss of Josh. It is rough.
I will remember your sil in my prayers tonight.
With love,
Leda
My hubby cries with me...so does my son,
Daniel....I am lucky to have men who are not afriad to shed tears with me...bless your hubby!!
Sounds like you have a wonderful man in Joe. My husband is one of those that tries to be macho...but when it comes to grieving for Jason we still cry together. We are fortunate to have someone to cry with. Terry
What a blessing to have your sweet husband of 44 years by your side. That speaks volumes my friend.
I know you are keeping a watchful eye out on one another and Lisa is orchestrating it all.
Gentle care to you this weekend and hope it\'s sinus headache free!
Love and hugs, Joanie
