Green Smiley Monday

It is Monday again and I actually feel relatively positive!  Joe and I have been very conscientious about walking daily.  On Saturday we did a 10 mile walk with the Outdoor Club, in the mountains.  It was a cool day - perfect for hiking!
I grew up in Northern Ontario so have an affinity for the bush.  The sound of the river and the smell of the tress was very soothing.  Not to mention that I didn't have time to obsess about anything as there were a lot of ups and downs!  I am not ready for the advanced hikes yet!
Yesterday and today we walked in our river valley.  We walk for a couple of hours a day.
I am feeling more confident about doing the Camino walk in August.  We have a ways to go before we are up to do 15 - 20 miles a day.
So far, my brother is slowly improving so that is a reason to smile too!
Have a great week.
p.s Lisa:  I miss you always and love you forever.

You certainly put me to shame in the fitness department -- which is probably good for me. I need to get my rump up and moving one of these days. I too am sending love to you and Lisa. Terry

Oh my goodness ~ our paltry two or three miles a day with the dogs seems like nothing! Bravo for the mountain and forest hiking ~ keep it up!

Wow, that is a lot of walking and it sounds like in such a wonderful, outdoor environment! So much more fun than on my treadmill, but that\'s about all I\'m motivated for these days. That, and going to the gym. Walking is really the best exercise in my opinion. Enjoy! Love+Hugs, Donna

We are all different! We have an exercise room in our condo building - I think I have been there about a half a dozen times in the last 11 years. I prefer the outdoors. As long as we are doing something to stay healthy, that is all we can do.
