Green Smiley Monday
On Mondays, I try to look at the positives. There have been Mondays that I have not been successful and this Monday is a struggle.
So here goes:
I am thankful that I am at home and that we are finally getting leaves and blossoms on the trees - a month late!
I am always thankful for my friends and close family. Without them I don't know what I would do.
I am thankful that we live in an area that is relatively safe from the elements - no assurances but so far so good.
On that note I feel so sad for the people in the South who have lost everything in the tornadoes, and for the people of Slave Lake Alberta. Almost half of their town was burned in a forest fire including the town hall and businesses. Everyone in the town had to evacuate. It happened over a week ago and they are still unable to go back to see if they have anything left. The only casualty so far is a helicopter pilot who was fighting the fire.
I wish you a peaceful week.

The storms this year have been unbelievable. Almost every day another area is flooded out or destroyed by a tornado. The home my DIL was living in (her Mom\'s house) has been completely destroy by a flood up in North-East Arkansas. She is getting another house but some others are not so lucky. Yes those of us that have not been touched by all this terrible weather have a lot to be thankful for. Terry
