first comment in a while been in hospital since the 28th may not bipolar related struck down with viral labyrinhitis again happend several months ago inner ear infection horrible condition basicley severe vertigo for the first week cant get up only lie down vomiting repeatly plus deafness in left ear last time. this time pretty much the same moniterd me in hospital not qiute as bad now but afarid to go outside it could take months till its gets better in some people left with permanment dizziness if the virus has damaged the ear.still hard of hearing in left ear but this time complety deaf doc says left earmight not improve.e one thing bipolar actualy seems to have improved possibly because i am worried about labs.

viral labyrintis is a inner ear infection that affects your balance and vision severe vertigo and blurred vision and sever vomiting for aproxx a week non stop then things gradualy improve but can take months to geet back to normal somepeople have permanment balance problems because it is a virus nothing can be done hopefully no damage will have occured but if it does then you will probally have mild dizziness for good also the last attack i had has caused me quite bad hearing loss in my left ear constant ringing
