Hello

I thought I would write a brief journal saying hi and telling everyone who I am. I'm a 48 year old male from West Virginia who is thankful a friend clued me on on this site because it's been helpful in a short time I've been here. I'm a scientist, specializing in petroleum, statistics, and instrumentation. I'm also a writer, so I have been published in both fiction and non-fiction. I'm also a photographer which is my source of income at the moment. I'm here because I suffer from depression and SAD.Lately it is to the point that I don't think I am functioning normally around people in real life, or online. Even in an online chat room with several people the SAD will kick in and I'll feel humiliated and leave. I love art, music, movies, and believe it or not helping people. Any other questions feel free to ask. Tim
