It's been a long time. But things are going well. Still at the same house but we added on a huge wing in the house. The older kids have bigger bedrooms with thier own bathrooms and walk in closets, yes they are spoiled rotten. I got laid off from the hospital I was working at as an ER doctor but I'm back working as a paramedic and couldnt be happier. Still have the shop in the basement. We bought a lot of cars lately. Stopped smoking! Ill update on the kids also.
River is doing great. He's in college. He's 21 already! He works with me in our basement barbershop. He's my same old rivy boy fighting with his siblings and messing around. He is still a daddy boy. Cuddling up to me on the couch late or coming to my room at night wanting to talk or just needing that hug.
Keli...where do I start with Keli. She's 18! Shes doing really well. Just graduated high school, I'm in denial that my baby girl is growing up. She has gotten a little serious with a boy. He's not a bad kid what so ever, just missing bonding time with her. But shes still a daddys girl. I just wish she would spend some more time with her old dad.
Joey is crazy. He grew so much. He's about as tall as me now, still a skinny twig though haha. Joey is 17, wow. Still no car for him. He's doing much better in school. He found a love for drawing and fencing. He is really awesome at both. Supervision with his french foil is a must though.
Nathan, he is so big! He is 3 now and has no fear of anyhting! He will slide down the stair head first, jump into the deep side of the pool, or go chase some critter into the woods. He's very loud. He doesn't talk, just screams. But he doesnt have many tantrums unlike his siblings. He still sleeps in my room in his playpen, he refuses to be away from me because he gets alot of nightmares still. He is very much attached to his uncle Jake.
Jake and Ashie still live with us. We are like a big family system that just can't bare to part now. Even with most of the kids older now we just love that bonding time together and how we can all be together and not have to worry about if someones home to watch Joey or Nate. Jake still works at the army base. He also is a part time medic for the same company I work for. When we are working together we are constanly calling the kids making sure everythings alright at home. I was dicharged from the service about a year ago. Being a single dad with 4 kids, I wasn't about to head back to war. I did get serious with a girl a while ago but working and the kids, just didnt have the time to put into a relationship nor were the kids ready for a mom type figure. They perfer thier daddy haha.
Anyway, at the moment all the kids are home. River's watching me type and says hello to everyone on here, even though he did delete his account. Keli is with her boyfriend. Joey's playing XBox. and Nathan...he's running laps around the island in the kitchen screaming for oreos and ketchup. Ew. Changes are coming as the kids get older but I think we are ready to tackle those now that we fixed our family system.
