Okay so last night in chicago there was horrible storms! i mean every tornado signal was going off all around DuPage county. Im a spotter for the national weather cencer in chicago so I was watching for cloud rotation outside while it was raining. I mean it got ugly fast. I've never yelled at the kids to get in the basement like that, ever. Then my medic scanner said there was a house fire on Forest and Oak street, that would be my neighbor. So I took off down the street to check. The caller didnt say an address so for 45 minutes me and 6 other fire fighters were searching the area with spot lights. It's a good thing Im still on the roselle medic/fire squad. Then my old boss needed me to help out with the medics at house fire across town so I took off there till about 11, then more storms moved in, thank god they weren't sever. I could live without the bad weather but I guess thats what comes with living in chicago. I home everyone in northern IL and northern IN are okay and aren't stuck without power.
