My neurologist just called me this afternoon. She told me to go back on to the previous combo of meds that prevented the TN pain. I conclude that cymbalta(60 mg per day) does not work for me. I will take 75 mg of trileptal in AM / 150 mg in the PM and only 30 mg of cymbalta in the PM. This combo made me feel so good in August and I hope it works again.I think you are right Mike about that burning sensation/pain by the nostril. It is a sign to me that the TN pain is back.

I am sorry to hear that Pabuddy. My neurologist has me on 120/day. So far so go but then I haven\'t had a bad flare up yet. I am due for one in about two week according to my past history. I feel like I could be jinksing myself by narrowing the flash inervals down like that....oh well. TN has a mind of it\'s own as we both know.
Doesn\'t it such when you can not wipe a runny nose. You have to wait to go out of the house.
