Went to a open talk tonite listen to  a girl  that I knew in my past thought I went to school with her but it turns out I didnt so it must of been a time that I have a block of memory that has  not happen to often but its a wonder it didnt happen more often.  It was very good, what this addiction does to us its a wonder alot of us are still here but I firmly believe there is a reason. Its always good for me to go to this meeting on Sat. night because its in the worst side of town and it keeps me grounded and grateful it could always be worse been so close to being just like a lot of people from over there that was notihing  but some seem to stay sober and clean plus it gives me an oppertunity to give some money for there cause and whats so neat about it is when you leave you know you did the right thing and do not want anything in return thats a good feeling in its self.  A good friend of mine always sz every one is at a diffrent place in there sobrity no one is exactly the same I agree with that its like everyone has there own set of finger prints no two are the same. After being on this site for awhile it doesnt matter where you live in this world one thing is for sure we all hear are story somewhere in their story.  Everyone has their ups and downs on a daily basis no matter who you are but most of us see some light and hope where at one time their was no hope at all and seek that solution to are problems.till next time

Right on. I too often wonder how I got through some of it losing only brain cells. Grounded and grateful, I like that phrase, hope you don\'t mind if I borrow it. Sounds like you had a good weekend. Peace.
