issues and issues we all have them family business jobs ect.. and thats where I'm at right now.  Bottom line is from what I have learned there is a solution for everything.  Sometimes quickly sometimes slowly, but they do come.  It really does not matter what is it;s how you deal with it, not so easy sometimes.  I have not journaled in awhile not sure why I go to about  5 meetings a week  and work and help a few people of the site to the best of my ability.  The people I try to help if I don"t have have sound advice for whatever it is I don"t give it.  I knew about getting drunk and taking pills and for the grace of Higher Power the craving  has been lifted but I know this is only a sysptom of my problem.  Relationships canbe just as bad as drinking I have seen it happen and they always go back to the drink if they do not have  a support system behind the,  if family can't help which in my case that was not possable  BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T KNOW WHAT WAS WRONG WITH ME.  i HAD TO GO TO A 12 STEP PROGAM TO UNDERSTAND ME.  i REALLY DO NOT KNOW WHERE i 'M GOING WITH THIS ITS JUST COMING OUT. I see I screwed up the type on this and I refuse to go back and correct  it be fore  I would would because I thought I was perfect today it does not have to be that way thanks  to hp that understands me.  Again the issues will come up tomorrow but will try to tomorrow what I did today.  With 12 steps in my life. till next time

I guess I\'m pretty blessed with a family in recovery (I guess--LOL!). My sister and uncle still go many times a week, but my dad doesn\'t (unless someone asks him to go to their first step meeting). They all live in a pretty small town (about 2,000) and apparently the meetings were \"threatening my dad\'s sobriety\", whatever THAT means. But he still talks to another alcoholic daily. Let me tell ya....BIG bonus to have them when I go visit. They are quite supportive and understanding when I have to leave a family wedding to go to an AA meeting or to leave my other sister\'s side (dying with cancer) to go to a meeting! Thanks for reminding me how truly blessed I am. Have a good night :)

Hi;;haven\'t posted you in a long time but I still have to say, it gives me chills to hear that aa stuff...brings back real bad memories. I think...like they say on TV...have to block you. As far as I\'m concerned aa is still cult material. Did you read what happened near Washington, DC to that young girl in aa? Aloha, and luck to you.

You seem like a really great guy. I know that I have to follow the steps and really get in touch with my higher power. I will do anything to not drink anymore and this program has worked for so many alcoholics, I feel it would be a shame to not give it an honest try and see if it can help me too - why not right - I havent been doing a very good job without it!! Thanks for being a friend.
